Very nice texture and I believe it will hold up well for several dish washing/drying. It has a lot of white, so I wouldn't use it for greasy hands etc., and bleach will probably destroy it fast. This is for average use only. You'll have to upgrade for tougher items, like drying dark skillets or camping use. I also just like to have these in the washroom for our guests. They are very pretty. I normally don't buy anything with white, but it's nice to have a nice basketweave and pretty pattern for special occasions. I normally have just dark/drab colors for our kitchen because the guys work outdoors and grab the first thing they see to wipe dirt off their hands. This cloth would also be pretty in a picnic basket or draped over your pies for the church bake sale. The stitching is nice and it's a perfect size for the hand towel area in the bathroom.
