Product Description The Kitchen Party is a chance for neighbors, family and friends to gather and enjoy good food, good music, and each other's company. The Acadia New Music Festival, Shattering the Silence, delved into this intimate musical setting unique to Eastern Canada. Over the course of three hours on a snowy Sunday afternoon in February, composers, performers, and audience bumped elbows, shared food, andenjoyed some terrific music. The Kitchen Party captures the magic of that evening. Review The flute-percussion duo comprises "extended techniques" specialist flutist Derek Charke and "veteran of virtually every percussion genre," Mark Adam, now both music professors at Acadia University in Wolfville.
