I like how age appropriate it isLooks like the picture but won't fit like it looks, the ties in the back seem like they will rip if I tie it too tight. But I guess it will keep my shirt clean while I cook!I bought this apron to bring to Burning Man, where I do a lot of cooking for my camp family and where a fun, frilly apron on a dude would fit right in -- but I forgot to pack it, so I've been using it as a "backup apron" at home instead.~~Fit~~It's worth noting that this *is* a small garment -- but I'd describe it as "small adult-sized," rather than as child-sized. It fits me -- a guy, 5'8"/172ish cm; 150 lbs/~68 kg, small-boned but broad-shouldered -- well enough to function just fine. I just have to remember that it's shorter and narrower than my usual apron (which was custom-made for me by my mother-in-law) and act accordingly.If you're taller than about 5'9", or if you have a big chest or a long torso, this isn't the apron for you. If you're about my height or below and fairly slim, though, it should be okay. The ribbons that tie around the waist are quite adequate for me.~~Materials and Workmanship~~The materials used to make this apron are light but seem durable. I use it whenever my main apron is in the wash (pretty frequently, since I use my main apron just about every day). It has held up well to use and washing.The tie ribbons are made of thin fabric (nylon, I guess?), but they've held up well and are pretty strong.The workmanship seems pretty good; I haven't noticed any loose threads, missing stitches, or anything else along those lines. Considering the price, I couldn't ask for better.~~Functionality~~This apron is capable of keeping your clothes reasonably clean and dry unless you're an idiot like me who can't wash dishes without looking like he went for a swim. That said, my other apron, made from much heavier materials, is about the same -- I'm honestly not sure a proper drysuit could handle the way I do dishes -- heck, it's possible that I could flood a space suit if I was washing up after a dinner party.The pocket is small but useful. You can tuck a dishcloth into it, or if you're all post-modern like I am you could stick your phone in there so you could listen to podcasts on earbuds while you cook and clean (if you do dishes the way I do, I would recommend first sticking the phone insize a zipper bag, then sticking it in the pocket, but your mileage may vary).~~Appearance~~This thing is, as it states, cute and a bit on the fancy side. It looks silly on me, but that was kind of the point. It might not look silly on you. I really like the white dots on the accents.~~Overall~~If you're a smaller, slimmer person looking for a cute apron that will keep you reasonably clean and dry, you could do worse than this one.Cute but a little stiff even after it was washedVery cute apron, I like it and use it often. It's made of good quality fabric, though it collects lint and fibers pretty easily which really shows up on the black, but a lint brush takes care of that real fast. I am shortwaisted so I had to shorten the neck strap a bit, but that is usual for me and not a big deal. I wish the tie in the back were made of the same material as the apron though. It is instead a slippery ribbon. I found it difficult in the beginning to hold on to and tie, and that behind my back, but I got used to it and better at it and now I don't think about it anymore. All in all I'm glad I got it, and the price was right.Looks exactly as pictured. This thing is not for practical use. I bought it mainly because there's a running joke between my husband and myself that I'm the little wife and he's the "MAN." I love to bake. And I also am a little obsessed right now with redecorating our kitchen, so I bought this as a little gag and was wearing it when he came home from work one day. It just hangs on a coat hook in the kitchen now. This thing is pretty tiny so I can see why others are complaining and saying only kids can wear it but I'm a 5'8", 125lbs, adult woman and it easily fits me and ties in the back with enough extra sash to probably wrap around my front. It is very short though, hits me right at my hip.Very cute and well made apron loooksLike a dress. Material is good quality but back ties are made of ribbon which might not last.Cute. Also fits around my round 45" tummy (blush) nicely (does NOT transform me into a petite French maid :-) But I left one star off because the upper portion that covers the chest area is pretty narrow, only 7". So just the very front strip of your chest is protected. So I have to be careful reaching across things too cuz I'm short it's easy to bump into stuff when reaching things on the back of the stove for example. And of course if you are working with food that might spatter, unless you're QUITE thin, you are going to have spots on either side of those 7"!Ein Hingucker für jede Frau in der Küche!
