I have gone to all the stores looking for a kitchen faucet but was so very disappointed with the quality. I was ready to spend more but even the more expensive faucets were junky. Until i came across this brand i knew the quality when i saw it. The store was sold out soordered it on Amazon a i am glad i did. The quality is unsurpassed by any of the US brands. This faucet will last you for years to come as the quality of the materials is exceptional. The design is awesome and and it’s easy to use. You can’t go wrong with Hansgrohe. The plate i had to buy separately so there is an added expense if you do need it.I literally returned 5 faucets before keeping this one. Not only was it a bargain ($120 less on Amazon than other sites), it's very functional and works great. The magnetic docking is really nice and the water flow is perfect. I think I've read other reviews that said it splashes all over but I don't find that to be the case. I do a lot of hand washing and it works perfectly. As stated by others, the real challenge was removing my previous faucet. This one went in without a hitch and I didn't even need a second person. Positioning the faucet can be tricky but I supported it with a towel while I was underneath the sink. The soap dispenser was purchased separately and it is also Hansgrohe. Time will tell how well made it is but for now, it works great. BTW, I'm a 68 year old woman who is fairly handy☺️Update to my review a month later. The other reviews regarding the splashing are in fact correct. I guess it has something to do with no aeration. I have to make sure I just barely turn the water on. Everything else about it is great but that is annoying.Another update, I ordered Hansgrohe Part #88658860 (another website). It is a hand piece that is compatible and IS aerated. I called Hansgrohe to confirm before ordering it. Got it today and I like it a lot. See second photo. Another thing I like the replaced hand piece is you can stop the spray action without turning off the faucet.I'm a Hansgrohe fan and have their faucets throughout my house. This one in particular is nice, very solid but doesn't have real great design. Much more plain in person than in pics. The only other issue is the water flow. There is no aerator type flow but only a stream which is low flow so it pours out slower. This has nothing to do with my water pressure as all my other faucets run well. I still like the quality and it does fit the look of the kitchen but it's just a barely OK rating. Would recommend for quality but should also consider other hansgrohe models.I love my new kitchen faucet! The design is gorgeous - simple and elegant, with a flat ergonomic handle for ease of use. It has magnetic docking for the pull-out hose and moves incredibly smoothly from side to side. It doesn't have an aerator in the spout, which is the only thing that might be different from other brands, but I'm used to it now. The water will splash off of objects and dishes if you're not used to a high arc faucet, but I've learned to reduce the water volume and rinse dishes deeper inside the sink to avoid splashing. I hired a professional plumber to install the faucet and the installation appeared very straightforward. The stainless steel finish is beautiful, but water stains will appear if water dries on it, so I try to remember to wipe it down after every use. It's not the cheapest, but I think it's the best! The faucet looks very nice, and is practical, but the noise it makes when the water is running is incredibly annoying, when you hold the spray inside you hand it would lower, but there is no way of solving it. I wouldn't recommend buying this faucetWhat an improvement in our kitchen! After reading some of the other reviews I was concerned about water pressure and splashing, and discovered both of these not to be an issue. The non-aerated stream of water is very soft and produces no splashing, and the water pressure is just fine. The toggle switch from stream to spray is very handy to use, and of course, if you don't aim that spray correctly it can splash around a bit. The pull-down feature makes cleaning large pots and cleaning out the sink much easier. Also, we went from a two-handle to this single handle, which makes it so much easier to turn the water on and off when in the midst of cooking! This is a beautiful faucet that has a very high-quality feel to it. Then handle operates smoothly and the push-button spray clicks on easily and securely. As others have noted, because of the laminar flow (not aerated), and the reasonably high flow rate, if you turn the faucet on full-force, and there's a spoon or a dish in the flow line, you can expect to get some splashing. The solution is just to learn to ease the water on. Also as noted by others, the spray head defaults back to laminar flow when you turn the water off. This feels like a feature to me, but others have wished it wasn't so.We love the simple, clean lines of this faucet. I has a real premium look and feel to it. Beautiful finish, easy to keep clean. This faucet is very good. It was very easy to install. It looks contemporary and it has very clean line. It looks very good. We love this faucet. The spray head is convenient. The only reason I put 4 stars instead 5 is the first shipment had very weak water flow. Even after the water line was cleaned, the water pressure was weak.I got the replacement very quickly from Amazon and the second shipment is working perfectly.I highly recommend this faucet. After installation by a plumber - wouldn't fit my faucet holes with out some modification to my sink - it seems to work as it should - hope the magnet maintains its strength - nothing worse than a droopy faucet...Very well made and so far no complaints. Love it
