I purchased the Moen Nio Smart Faucet (S75005EVBLS) and wanting to make sure the faucet works 99.99% of the time. I needed an AC power supply for the unit. This looks exactly like the ones directly from Moen. Matter a fact the instruction paper looks like the ones from Moen. This works perfectly and easy to install. Now I have AC and using battery as backup when there is a power outage.It works for our Moen faucet but we just noticed that our outlet has been occupied by the dishwasher and garbage disposal, both can’t use cord splitter or adapter. This means we can’t use it without give up the dishwasher. Sadly have to return.I like the power supply to hook to the moen faucet directly but getting an intermittent lost of power to faucet so I don't know if it is the power supply or the smart faucet electronicsI was kind of shocked to find out that the handle on our sink (which came with the house) was not connected to a physical valve, but rather just a remote control for a battery powered valve under the sink, leaving the sink unusable if the batteries die. Moen is supposed to be a quality manufacturer, how could the possibly do something so boneheaded?The touch-less water feature is mostly useless, only ever getting used when it is accidentally activated when reaching for the soap, but that is neither here nor there.If you want your sink with a touchless Moen faucet to work both when the batteries die, AND when the power goes out (but not at the same time) then you need one of these. It sits between the battery box and the faucet control box providing power to the faucet, and switching to battery if the power goes out.This particular one does not include the AC adapter, so you will need to get one separately.It's a simple product that should cost about $5, but is instead WAY overpriced. Moen is to blame for this, not the retailer. Personally I'll remember this, and never again buy a Moen faucet. I hope you do too.Pricey but if it works will save on battery replacement cost and lack of water from the moen motion sense faucet if the power goes out or the batteries are dead. Does have led lights on splitter indicating ac or batteries in use as shown in the Amazon picture. Haven't installed yet, will review actual use once this product works or doesn't upon installation.We bought this adapter for our new Moen MotionSense faucet. We love everything about it. No need to worry about replacing the batteries when we have this adapter. Works effortlessly. It is expensive but I would imagine over time the cost of your time and effort to replace the batteries would be comparable. We love this product.My kitchen already had an under-the-sink power outlet (for disposal and dishwasher), so installation was a breeze. I should have done this with the original purchase. The battery solution isn't bad (especially if you don't have ready access to power). Rather, the adapter is so much better.Bummer you have to buy these and they donot come initially with the faucet we bought. No issues at all with vendor. Shipped and arrived very quickly
