I love this island but it was not that easy to assemble.Easiest piece of furniture I have ever assembled. The major components slide and snap together. Bolting the top on ties it all together. Assemble the three drawers and your done. Everything lined up beautifully.And this island is solid wood, even the drawers. Very sturdy and good quality. Highly recommend!This is a great piece. I paid for the assembly and am SO GLAD I did. It’s sturdy and looks nice.I bought the gray color, and it’s like a medium-light gray paint, not a dark brushed gray like it looks in the picture. It still works in my kitchen, but I was surprised at how light in color it was when it arrived.It has a bit of a chemical smell (probably from the paint) but that has decreased considerably over time.Ordered this item back on July 17, and it is now August 25 and still am waiting on getting my missing parts. We are missing the parts to adhere the top and one of the spice racks. I have religiously contacted the company once a week trying to get these missing parts.It looks great. The wheels suck though and the way they have you attach them is not sturdy. I wish they provided better solution to attaching them.I would like to receive the missing parts and I am sure I will like it better then. But for now I guess I will continue annoying the company with my weekly messages until I get the missing parts. If I don't get the missing items in about another month (waaaaay generous amount of time) I will start looking into other options and hopefully can get a refund since the item I received is not the item I ordered.Update 8/31: We received the missing hardware. However, we received the wrong part that was missing. We were sent the selves when we needed the spice rack. SIGH. We will see when we actually get the correct missing part.Update 9/9: Finally got the correct missing part. Hopefully if you order this you don't have to go through all of this, but just be aware, if they get it wrong you could be waiting a WHILE before it actually get resolved.Very difficult to assemble because the parts and screws are cheaply made and the inaccuracies in the finishing caused major issues with alignment. Instructions are simple and make sense so it does not take very long to complete the project. The granite is very heavy so ensure you have a helping hand before proceeding. I’m just happy we made it work and my kitchen looks so gorgeous now!Top was a little hard to attachGreat ProductMeasurements are important.. this is not a wide island at all, but it is very nice.
