I have this actual faucet so I was desperate just to replace it because I didn’t want to waste money on an expensive alternative.I was “Pleasantly” surprised because I went to all the major big box stores the “Wal-Cheap” had it in stock so I took it to the counter after standing in line for the privilege of self check out the same product was over $100. I was like “I don’t think so” I decided to look on Amazon and bingo couple of days because I like the free shipping and it landed on my doorstep “No line No self check out,No staff member that just shrugs there shoulder and says it is what it is”It’s the same exactly the same product I tried to buy. Easy to fit will need some tools and a bit of plumbing knowledge but not difficult as maybe a plumber would like you to think.PTFE thread tape was included.I would highly recommend getting a plumber if you are tool shy, it makes sense to be safe. The product was a brushed steal which I put on a stainless sink. This is not an expensive product so don’t expect a $1,000 tap. It’s a tap that works fine and dose the job and that’s all I needed and the “saving” made all the stress of shopping that much nicer.I would recommend.I bought this to change my kitchen sink faucet. The previous one was short and low and hurt my back when I was washing anything at my kitchen sink. So I bought this and had my brother install it for me. He installed it super fast, I honestly feel it took longer to remove the previous one and prep before this new one was installed. Now I can stand comfortably at my kitchen sink without hurting my back.I like it because it works over the sink easier to rinseProduct was very easy to install and has met all of the expectations I have had. Works perfectly and fits well in the kitchen setting and appearance. My son was able to install for me without too much trouble. It looks great, and gives me more room than my previous faucet. As a landlord I’ve purchased and replace dozens and dozens of faucets. Customarily I would purchase Delta or Moen products for $200+ and within 3-8 years have to replace the cartridges at $30-$50 a pop.Since going through that constant replenishment experience I began to buy less expensive faucets, under the assumption that all faucets these days are made in the same place — Asia — and a I might as well save money since they all will need to be repaired.I can’t tell you whether this Shaco model will require a repair. They talk about coming equipped with ceramic valves, just like the high end Moen and Delta brands. I’ve only had this one installed for a few months in our own pool house, and every time I use it it impresses me with the quality of its functioning and aesthetics. The design even on the small parts is spot on. The removable aerator doesn’t have a restrictor so the water comes out fast. And even the sprayer has a long, kink-free hose which allows you to pull it far out smoothly.I went to the Shaco home online site, and they don’t list any replacement parts. It’s possible that when you open it up there will be another brand of faucet which will have identical cartridges, although the picture in their description is nothing like I’ve seen previously. It’s also possible that when you contact their customer service department you can buy them.I guess that’s why I’m taking the time to give them a positive review. It just feels so solid and well made. Water immediately stops flowing when shut off and doesn’t leak. Everything functions better than the high dollar competition. And should you need parts, the $40 cost to replace the entire faucet would be less than you’d pay for Moen or Delta replacement parts. And that’s a slam dunk. One star deletion for lack of parts, anyway. We liked the sink and faucet together they were just basic and hopefully trouble free .UPDATED: I like the product. It was exactly what I expected. No, this is not an expensive heavy-duty unit. The only problem, and it IS a problem, is that the sprayer leaks. It doesn't seem to seal properly, at the sprayer... I'd love a replacement, as I just installed it. It's only been in use 1 day. I'd love for the seller to respond, either a new sprayer, or some idea as to how to get this to seal properly. It's not leaking where I attached it to the main faucet, it's leaking at the very end of the spray nozzle.NEW: I was able to contact the vendor. It took a few days, but they understood the issue and they're shipping a replacement sprayer. We still like the faucet and it was a very good buy.
