Redid the cabinets in my 65 year old home. The original hardware had push down handles that would unlatch the doors. I used these self closing hinges to accomplish closing the doors without the old push down handlesLook great and are a great valueHoles matched perfectly on the cabinet itself, but the hole farthest out on my old hinge is at 1 inch and the new hinge has that hole start at 13/16ths of an inch. I will have to fill in the existing holes with wood putty and make new holes. I guess that is worth it for the price I paid. Unfortunately, I have 23 pair of hinges holes to patch and redrill.At this price point, I’d call these hinges fine. They look nice and have just enough play that they’re not extremely difficult to install (we installed them as upgrades and did not need to drill any new holes). However, some of the packs didn’t have enough screws to install them correctly, so we ended up needing to open other hinge packs to make up for the lack. The quality of the screws was also extremely inconsistent. Some screws had blunt tips. Some had extra metal to the top like they hadn’t been machined correctly. And some screws had barely any of the head routed out to allow the drill bit to grab the screw.Overall, these hinges are fine. If you can afford some that are higher quality, do it. You’ll (most likely) be able to install these, just be prepared for it not to be the smoothest process and buy a few extra hinges in case you have to steal some screws.These hinges matched the ones in my historic existing kitchen that were crumbling apart and work really well!When I got my order the box was trashed around. They had it taped up and had bobble wrap holding it together. -- thought nothing of it at first but while we were installing them they easily break with the vibrations of a screwdriver then they rusted within a month. I have to rebuy all my white cabinet doors.Buyer beware. Wish I could get my money back but we had a back order on our cabinet doors because of covid.the hinges themselves are fine and look nice, but each was packaged with one (needed) screw missing. We are having to open multiple packages to replace the missing screw, so will have not enough screws at the end!Love them great price ,I order the wrong ones for whT I need but I loved them....people were great I send them back should receive my full refund I will order from them again...
