Initial impressions only right now, I have yet to wire this in to my travel trailer system. Looks bigger/burlier in the photos, what amusingly but a bit disappointingly first caught my eye is that in the photos it looks like a full sized electronic shop standard on/off rocker switch, when it's actually the tiny cute (less robust) mini-rocker version. I had planned on doing a kitchen cabinet flush mount hole install with a bezel surround (like a car stereo deck), but the fully forward placed mounting feet are going to make the install more complicated and less clean looking- they're right in the way of the clean framed bezel opening I had planned. Going to have to extend the inside mounting shelf and trim around it- awkward. This will be a permanent install, primarily for emergency AC power during power outages. The trailer already has a full DC system with converter, I'll also be adding a mere 100w solar panel/controller for charging during extended outages, thusly having a modest but fully self sustaining off grid capable system.Unit appears well made, wish it were flat black, but the blue color isn't hugely obnoxious. I picked this unit in part because it displays all the crucial input/output data, though the screen is a tad small. 3ft jumpers seem decently made, but pretty much useless to me- running 12 footers with a 5ft positive jumper at the battery side, to accommodate the huge Windy Nation 150amp ANL fuse block. Will update upon install and testing....EDIT/UPDATE 6/7/21:Well finally got around to the major parts of the install on this puppy! (all pics)*the cons:*firstly, the power switch is installed UPSIDE DOWN! WTF? DOWN is on, UP is off! Being American, I'm still only sort of used to the Euro O/| power symbols (lol), but upside down? Whatever...Secondly, just like I said, the dang front feet/screw mounts really messed up my plans for a professional clean looking, semi flush car stereo DIN-like faceplate/panel install (as you can see it's rough right now, be gentle lol). It's temporarily in there, I plan on framing around it completely so yeah there's that. FIY, the Energizer version WOULD have been perfect (the front mounting feet are back behind the bezel grrr), and it's exactly the same electronics/manufacturer.. but Amaz was out of stock at the time so...oh well.Thirdly: On my fully charged battery, reading 12.8 resting voltage, the inverter battery icon only shows two bars! Huh? Looking at the BiMart stock number, it says 24RVDC...hmmm, 24 volts? I don't have a meter handy atm (I know I know...it got stolen- a $1000 Fluke, no less grrr!)***Now to the surprising PROS: this little inverter is actually a little workhorse, from the little bit I've tested it. Check out the pics- it's happily running a hungry 58.8vdc 4amp charger w/fan, pushing to my 52v 1500w DIY super ebike! The converter is pulling from just a single new run-of-the mill 70Ah marine/RV lead acid battery, nothing special. You can see in the pics, wattage draw stabilized at 278-280 watts, voltage sag stabilized at 11.8v solid. 20 minutes later the numbers were still stable, and the converter cooling fan still hadn't come on. Now...I'm nervous to see just how low those numbers go throughout 6 hours of charging! Have my doubts about a full charge from almost empty on the bike batt...but it's a 20Ah monster and I rarely roll back in with it discharged more than 1/3. Remember, padding your numbers is key in the battery game! In off grid situations I will have my RV battery taking power from a Dokio 100w portable solar panel setup (hence the solar controller in pic), which is also surprisingly capable...so my voltage loss/gain ratio may be feasible...at least during summer. And since I live in the newly parched sun blasted rapidly climate changing Pac NW US...Summer is now three seasons long. So in our Mad Max Road Warrior future...I'll be zipping by skeletons sitting in rusting out-of-fuel Hummers and Escalades aka coffins at 40 mph heh..But I digress...I also tested a little 250 watt fan heater, no problems at all. Voltage drop to around 12.0v, watts around 130. Then the test-to-fail- threw my power sucker1000w Proctor-Silex electric kettle on heh...converter was doing it, but the voltage definitely was diving quickly into no-go land.To summarize, not a bad little unit, would've like to go 3,000 on the wattage, but budget constraints you know...Purchased this to power a rv television. I had a few installation questions after it arrived and received quick email responses from tech support. Very pleased with purchase.Easy to install and use. Display is minimal but has the essentials including supply voltage and output amperage along with alerts. Using this to run my refrigerator in my travel trailer.Worked well for 15 months, occasionally overheat, had to turn off and use extra fan to cool down.Started beeping middle of the night, shows voltage low 9.8 volts then it died. Reset, two wires connection to battery shaken and it beeps, shows low voltage. Therefore carefully checked battery voltage after PV charge for a day was 14.0 Volts, charge controller function normal.Reset again, Inverter voltage changes rapidly from 9.8-12.0 volts every mili second.Price, ratings and power output!I checked it a few times the same day and it works.Time will tell, but this inverter seems to be of excellent quality. Connecting this is easy. The included cables are of good quality and length.I’m using this inverter as part of battery backup power to my sump pumps (one pump is 1/3HP the other is 1/2HP). This inverter delivers the power effortlessly. No hiccups.I love that I can see the Watts being drawn and the voltage status of my batteries.I do wish the mounting brackets were metal instead of plastic.Works good did what I wanted it toI had this installed in the spring. I didn't really need off grid power until the end of the summer, right after my "tech support window" expired. I turned it on, heard a pop, and that was the end of it. Very disappointed.Il fonctionne très bien Rien a redire sauf des beaux mots
