Love this touch free faucet. Have to change the batteries about every 6 - 8 months but it is worth it.PBJhahahaha. Let me first say that I love this faucet! Its beautiful and functional. The spray head it tight and secure. The Shield Spray feature is meh...... works best if you have the water on high. I like to minimize water waste to a point. Using the Shield Spray to clean dishes is a waste of water. Just soak the dishes for crying out loud! It does have its helpful uses though. Now, I have to tell you this faucet is louder than normal. I am not sure why. Maybe the small lines going in? Just the sound of the water going through under counter is louder. Not the actual flow out of the faucet head.I purchased the power supply as well. No batteries needed here. I have had zero phantom faucet issues so far.Not hard to clean even though it does not have spot shield. However, when you wipe it down with a wet sponge/dish cloth you will likely initiate the faucet. Water is a conductor and there you have it.I love this faucet so far!!! Pricey-ish........ but fancy. Convenient. Helpful.Tips: I have mine set up on warm/hot. That being said I am sure my gas usage will be up because every time I use it via touch, it is mixing hot and cold. It's so easy to use I forget to switch the temp setting on the handle. Easy fix...... do it before turning it on. LOLTips: If you have cats.............who wander up on the counter in the middle of the night......... turn it off at night! My fur babies are still scared to death of it! It's so weird! One night, they apparently were being naughty. I woke up abruptly to the sound of commotion. Now if you have cats, this is not unusual. However, I heard the faucet........ I was like uh oh............I got the ghost faucet that I had read about in other reviews. The babies scampered into the bedroom and darted under the bed. Upon inspection I discovered the faucet on, but nothing disturbed. Throughhout the day, they literally took wide circles around the kitchen! LOL Every time the faucet came on they ran! And to this day, even though they are less freaked out, they still get clingy and panicky when I pick them up and walk over to the sink. My girl will venture up and had nose bumped it. She likes to sit in the sink and drink from the drips. I guess this turned on to a full shower! You have been warned........... LOLAll in all I love this thing. Necessary? Maybe not........ Nice? Certainly! Easy? Oh yes! Cleaner? Yup! No leaks so far. I don't anticipate any. Boyfriend installed it. Was a little crampy under my sink (builder did a crappy job of placing the lines, etc.) but he got the job done! My hero!!! :)Love the design of the faucet and the TouchH2O feature.Works great!!Looks amazing in my kitchen. It should be noted that while this faucet lists "ShieldSpray" as a feature it seems like older versions didn't have it or there's some kind of distribution issue where the faucet is sent with the wrong/older model wand assembly yet the same product# is used so there's no way to tell until you receive it whether you will receive the wand with or without that feature. If you click the ShieldSpray button and the straight stream simply looks more aerated or the flow increases slightly, then you have RP60976, which appears to either be the older wand assembly or the one used in the bar version of this faucet (or both). Addison kitchen faucets manufactured post 2018 SHOULD come with RP90838, which includes the SprayShield.A quick call to Delta sorted it out and they are sending us a replacement wand assembly at no charge. I will say that my experience with Delta's customer service was very quick and smooth, the service rep I spoke to knew exactly what I was talking about and everything was sorted out within 10 minutes, so that was much less of a hassle than I was anticipating. There's a lot of reviews talking about issues with the touch on/off capability or durability of the faucet over time. We just received our faucet and can't speak to longevity but the install was incredibly easy and it seems like while there may be some issues with the faucet lasting a long time...there might also be a lot of user issues.Despite what some reviewers claim you can easily bypass the solenoid to convert the faucet to a "normal" non-touch version if necessary. So we'll see if time will be kind to this product for us, but for now, it seems like we have an incredibly easy to install faucet that works with touch on/off flawlessly and if that feature should start to fail in the not too distant future it appears that it CAN be fixed/replaced/removed if necessary. If the faucet itself starts to fall apart quicker than anticipated then that would be a bigger bummer but we'll cross that bridge if we come to it.For those who are curious, the Arctic Stainless is a cooler toned brushed stainless finish. While it's brushed, it's not matte. I'd call it semi-polished. It does seem to show water marks easier and look more polished than our older regular stainless Kohler faucet, but it cleans up very easily with a damp cloth. So far so good, but if we experience issues with the touch function or the faucet starts to rust/leak I'll update this review.Bought this faucet with the touch activation and it has changed my life so much more than expected. Now when I use an "old fashioned" faucet I almost get aggravated because I actually have to turn it on and off manually. Being able to just tap on and off so sooooooooo convenient and save a lot of mess. Worth every penny for that feature. The faucet looks nice, but it was hard for me to find the perfect look. Maybe I'm picky. It doesn't drip at all which is great. It much easy to wash my pots and pans with the large, curved neck. The magnet dock is great for keeping the spray nozzle stowed. I don't very often use the spray feature, usually just the regular flow. I do with once you turn the faucet off and back on it would default back to the regular flow like my last faucet. The spray shield is a nice feature but for me has limited uses, like getting the peanut butter off a knife before going in the dishwasher. Anyway, after a year and a half this faucet is still one of the best things I have bought for the house. This is a very nice faucet. We love the touch feature to turn on and off the water flow. The only problem that we had, was after 2 weeks of use, we discovered a small leak near the handle. I called Delta Faucets on a Saturday afternoon, and the technician was very helpful. Evidently, we must have had a defective motion cartridge. They shipped a replacement cartridge, but it took 4 days for it to arrive. Fortunately, Home Depot stocks these cartridges for about $35. I ended up buying one and solving the problem and will keep the cartridge sent by Delta as a spare. No new leaks as of this writing, but it's only been 4 days. This is a good quality faucet. The installation, and inclusion of appropriate parts is great! There’s a feature we did not expect- the led changes colour to indicate water temp. Cool.Only grumble is, the thing is a bit hypersensitive. There is an area near the neck that senses proximity, running water into your sleeve when you’re mopping up the sink.It is serving the purpose of saving water while remembering your heat and volume selection. We wonder if the over sensitivity will lessen as the batteries fade?this the 2nd touch faucet in our house. it' very comfortable specially in the kitchen when you prepare food and your hands oily or contaminated with meat. love this faucet and my wife she is very happy that I selected it. hope the battery will last at least 6 month. the company claim 2 years. my first faucet never last 2 years always less than year. we will see and update later.. it looks very good , doesn't look cheap yes I recommend this faucet to any kitchen..I had to replace my original H2O faucet with the current model. This one has a light to indicate temperature range of the water and was much easier to install. I also think I won’t have the issue of it coming on by itself or not coming on when touched because of the way it has been redesignedLooks great but touch feature was wonky from the start. Gradually touching area became less and less until it stopped working all together. Tap would also turn on even though we were in the other room. At one point (just a few weeks after install) the touch feature ceased to function. So, we had to disconnect the touch feature and use it like a regular faucet. Really disappointed by this as I had a delta touch faucet for over 5 years with no issues until a few months before it was replaced. Would have expexted this newer touch model to have similar or longer longevity for this faucet. Very hard to get any assistance from Delta either. Can't return because we had some stuff come up that prevented us from installing it right away.I have edited this review from the original one. I bought this Chrome faucet for my daughter for Christmas, as I had previously purchased the Arctic stainless for myself, which I love. We have not installed it as of yet, she lives in another city. I was disappointed with the inside packaging. The faucet was not wrapped in plastic for protection, was just laying in the formed cardboard, so could bounce around if box was treated roughly.Edited: We have since installed the faucet (February), I noticed the faucet was NOT the same as mine, the pull-out head is the same, BUT, the area where the water comes out is not. Hers does not have the Shield spray, just spray, and normal flow, the other button just makes the flow a little faster. I have not contacted Amazon as of yet, but I know I will not be able to return it as our "return window" is closed. But I hope that they may be able to get me the correct head from Delta. In trying to Register product on Delta website, none of the upc codes (3 on box) seem to work. One is an Lpnrr #, which in researching the web seems to be a Returned item #. Maybe because the head is wrong that was why it was originally returned??? Otherwise, item is great, was very easy to install, so far works great. Daughter was very pleased with it, it does look good!! Edit: Amazon can not get parts, but were good to give me a return label but it's installed and works. Emailed Delta, was informed the faucet came either way & would be marked on box, which it wasn't, but was mentioned in the extra details. Daughter is ok way it is, so will be leaving as is.
