Just what I thought it was going to be. Exactly how I remembered it from childhood. So much nostalgia for a chef inclined kid.We absolutely love this cookbook! For the last four years, my 6 year old has had aspirations to be a chef. He always loves to help in the kitchen but since we received this cookbook he has been wanting to cook dinner for the family every night. Having his favorite Disney characters in the book seems to be a big motivator. He feels like this is finally a cookbook that speaks to him. The recipes are simple enough for him to create while still letting him add a creative spin. I would recommend this to any budding chef!Nine year old grand daughter was thrilled!I would only caution you to READ about the purchase before you make it. This book was written in. So THIS Grandma had to cover the sentiments of the first Grandmother.Simple, and delightful with Disney characters on every page.I bought extras for grandkid gifts. They like the characters. The recipes are easy. The book is very sturdy too!Received the cook book quickly but it was in worse shape than expected. The description made it seem like it was in great condition but when I got it in the mail there were a few of the pages missing or torn. Luckily they weren't recipes that I would of made anyway so I just kept the book instead of going through the hassle of returning it.I purchased this cookbook for my granddaughters, ages 13 and 11, from a church bookfair. They tried many of the recipes and were pleased with everything they made. The recipes were easy to make with no fancy ingredients and best of all they tasted good. I purchased another cookbook through Amazon for my other grandchildren so they can learn to cook not only easy meals but taste good and are nourishing.I was a little leary about buying this previously owned, but the book was in excellent condition. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Great recipes to do with your children too.This is my daughter's favorite cookbook. She used to check it out of the library and now owns her own copy. She enjoys choosing meals and helping to make them.The whole book has been covered in water! And the front has multiple stains and marks on it. Not satisfied at all.Came on time and pretty much as expected.An ok book. But the recipes really aren't anything that special. They look ok and seem simple enough but dont really seem to get my kiddos excited or anything.my granddaughter loved this!
