I wanted a set of small storage containers that were not plastic and all of one size. These are nice. They don't leak for me but I don't carry them around in a lunchbox or such. The lids fit very tightly and I have to use a bit of muscle to remove them. My only complaint about these and many glass storage containers is that the plastic lids are not recyclable. I believe you can buy replacements though should they get damaged. Still, I prefer these to the tab-lock type, because the tabs usually break. I purchased these at the Amazon Warehouse and they were a very good buy.
