This is a delightful book that follows an average day in the kitchen of Tudor Manor. Cooking is a topic that all children can easily relate to. It is instructive and fun to examine the material culture of another era. "Tudor Kitchen" helps remind young readers that history is more than a collection of famous kings and queens and bloody battles. This is a well written and beautifully illustrated book and I highly recommend it.
