Author's note states: The cookbook has evolved from the tastes and influences of three continents, and from experience with cooking for a very large family. The foundation was laid in India, the home of ancestors, elements were added in Africa, the continent her ancestors adopted for three generations, and the final touches from Canada were she calls home.
