Very impressed with The Kitchen (2013) by Hieroglyphics. These dudes are lyrically ingenious and provide hip-hop beats that compel, satisfy cravings for innovative, stimulating music. Del's style, cadence, and voice are enough to engage the listener, but to include additional artists who offer equivalent intrigue guarantees this masterpiece will be in the Book of Eternity.Sincerely, my favorite songs are before the interlude. Ones that stay on repeat for days in my car are Golden, Gun Fever, The Mayor, and Indonesia. It would be bad ass to see Gun Fever made into a movie--it's all there. A few other euphonious faves include That Merch, Highway Five, and It's Partly Me. Damn, I REALLY like this album.
