Purchased the larger copy as a gift for a relative, and was so impressed, purchased this copy for myself.Hard back, ISBN 978-0-85783-659-5 is the smaller compact book, suits me as I don’t have a lot of storage. Exactly the same book as the larger version, lots of lovely photos and detailed recipes, plenty of options for home made gifts to suit everyone, from cakes and preserves to sweets and cordials. Lots of old favourite recipes, and lots of new ones to try, tips on preserves setting and jar sterilisation, would be easily achievable for baking beginners. Makes a lovely useful gift.
