A great album. The overall feel of the album is dark and cutting - vocals feel dissonant and harsh. The lyrics are dark, and they join in a weird synergy with the piano to haunt each track.I really love the track A Little Place Called Trust, which has this catchy intro of knives sharpening and plunging tip-first into a cutting board. The way it forces you to visualize it so vividly makes this track memorable.I first heard this album in the early 2000s and enjoyed it then. Even after a decade the tracks here hold up.
