My boyfriend and I signed up for a cooking class at Castello di Vicarello in Tuscany at the end of June. I was delighted to learn of the cookbook - we were cooking in the very same kitchen on the cover! I've been pouring through the recipes since our return and have made the caramelized pears (twice) as well as the sun baked tomato sauce and fresh pasta...we'll be making more and more in the coming weeks. This is the essence of Tuscan Italian cooking. Love.
